Myopia Master®

DiagnosticTomography & Biometry

All-in-one myopia device: refraction, axial length and keratometry in one two-minute contactless measurement.

Myopia Master measures the three key values for professional myopia management (refraction, axial length and keratometry) in one contactless process taking about two minutes. Its software compares results with BHVI growth curves, assesses risk with a questionnaire, produces a parent-friendly Myopia Report and tracks treatment success over time.

Key features

  1. 01

    Three measurements, one device

Autorefraction, axial length (measured independently of accommodation) and keratometry in a single contactless process of about 2 minutes.

  2. 02

    Reproducible axial length

Standard deviation of repeated axial length measurements of about 0.02 mm. Axial length is the gold standard for detecting and managing myopia.

  3. 03

    BHVI growth curves

Exclusive Brien Holden Vision Institute algorithms compare each eye with ethnicity- and gender-specific growth curves from more than 20,000 eyes.

  4. 04

    Risk assessment and parent education

A customizable questionnaire on hereditary, environmental and lifestyle risk factors, based on peer-reviewed literature.

  5. 05

    Myopia Report

One-click treatment recommendations (medication, contact lenses, lifestyle) in a clear report to email or print for parents.

  6. 06

    Growth analysis

Automatically calculates the axial growth rate against age-adjusted norms to show whether treatment is working. The optional GRAS module compares the eye with the Gullstrand model.
